Medha Patkar gets arrested in defamation case

Medha Patkar, a member of the Narmada Bachao Andolan, has been taken into custody by the Delhi Police. He has been taken into custody from South East Delhi on a defamation case. Delhi High Court has given Medha Patkar's lawyer permission to come to it with a new petition. The Delhi High Court will hear Medha Patkar's new petition on Wednesday.
